Hi My name is Taylor!

I am a Georgia raised illustrator/designer who is now living and working in California! I live with my boyfriend, Jasper and my two step-kids.
​
I do most of my drawing digitally in Procreate (while editing in Photoshop) now a days, but I still enjoy playing around in my watercolors/markers while doodling in my sketchbook at local coffee shops when I can.
​
My inspiration comes from reading/watching manga/anime and my other favorite shows. Along with scrolling through my social media sites like Instagram, Pinterest, and Tik-Tok. This isn't to say I can't spark some crazy idea while I'm driving in the car or seeing strangers during my day
(There really is some interesting things you only see walking around some days; trust me!)

Recently I am interested in using my illustrations of either animals, objects, or themes and turning them into patterns that I can then place on mock ups and imagine my work in the real world. (pssst.. that's why there are so many mock ups on my site......my bad..)
​
One of my main goals is to go out in the world and see my work in real life that I can go up to and touch. (and I am continuing to work towards that goal everyday!) I do have a ton of goals that I want to accomplish such as either working with a writer and get to illustrate a book with them or write/illustration of one my own! I also want to make some cute/fun packaging for either some children toys, food, and other products.

Curious about poppy?
Poppy is the name of that little pink and orange pup that you see around my site. I wanted to create a little mascot that could one day become his own brand, but for now..he's here to welcome all my guest into my site.

Poppy does have a backstory tho! Poppy is one of nine pups born from his litter in the year of 2021. While all of his sisters and brothers went off to follow their dreams of becoming fire, police, and therapy dogs. Poppy had a love of art and wanting to create his own path. Not knowing the right way to start, Poppy decides to learn all he can and become a apprentice. On the days he isn't working, you'll see him here trying out his own skills.
